The Daily Post: Guide Book Mondays – 6th September 2021

Hi GMD Online Fans/Members!

As most of you know each Monday is dedicated to updating/creating content for our GMD CORE Book range.

The CORE Guides I work on are voted on by the members or are updated weekly via the dedicated Discord Channels which can be found here: https://discord.gg/VnnANJX

You can grab copies of the works in progress for FREE from the XP Chart! It is my way of saying thank you for believing in GMD Online. None of these could have been created without your support.

Patreon Members: If you want access to your CORE Books, please switch over to the GMD Membership packages, your XP form Patreon will be transferred and your first month sign up will be double XP at the new level of support to say thank you.

XP Chart can be found here:

ALL New CORE RPG Version…

Sarah and I were discussing creating a version of CORE aimed at a younger audience a starter set or a basic version of CORE, which younger players can understand and play. More emphasis on the action and less so the roleplay element, almost board games in its design.

I have created a poll in the gmd-members-poll channel on Discord, please take 5 seconds to click your vote. It helps shape the future of GMD Online.

New Race!

I have finally managed to get the artwork sorted for the new race for Once Upon A Steam! Thanks to the all-new i9 machine!

The Mesquaki are a cunning race of fox people who are a playable race in the all-new CORE World Once Upon A Steam.

The Mesquaki were voted for by members in the gmd-members-polls channel on Discord. I have not yet completed the Racial Statistics and will try to update the Ever-Expanding Race guide with the stats next Monday time allowing!

Product of the Month Progress

6th day of September and progress is going slow but some nice progress is being made on the Adversaries, Allies & Encounters Guide. A Book dedicated to followers, pets and goons! With advice on how to set up exciting and memorable encounters… New Perks and Specialisations for players too, as well as more Encounter Blocks!

I have added some rules to the Combat Rules mainly advice to using Sidekicks. Also a new Perk and some new races concepts too. I have had a lot of interruptions today which have slowed production but hopefully, tomorrow will see a more productive day.

Here is a look at the rules created today for the GMD CORE RPG – Adversaries, Allies & Encounters Guide Guide: (The following text is only available to Members who are logged in)

Momentum

If you recall earlier this year we updated the Momentum rules to only allow [FOC] level of Momentum to be carried from Scene to Scene.

But should we create a cap for Momentum full stop?

So, instead of only being able to carry [FOC] + Stat Mod in Momentum, that you can only have [FOC] + Stat Mod maximum regardless?

Have your say and vote on the poll in the gmd-members-polls channel on Discord.

GAU Starter Adventure

I have discovered that the issues with Perk Checkboxes we were experiencing on Thursday are not just unique to Starfall.

It appears that the issue was with all Games set up. I have reported the issue and hope that it will be fixed soon!

On top of that I have updated the characters for the GAU game in regards to purchased Perk Levels. I noticed that Phantom First had the incorrect Perk at Level 2 and Sirona was missing one of her Perks at Level 2.

All updated!

Blood Bowl News

Last week saw the end of the Blood Bowl Group stages for our yearly Champions Cup and Wooden Spoon Tournaments.

It has been an exciting tournament so far but that is nothing compared to what is about to happen! We are now entering the Knockout Stage of both of the Tournaments. The top 4 teams from each group battle it out to the final and ultimately the trophies!

There are two Trophies up for grabs: The Champions Cup & The Wooden Spoon!

Champions Cup

The Champions Cup is played for by the top 5 teams from each of the GMD League divisions and a few AI teams are thrown in to fill gaps.

Wooden Spoon Trophy

The Wooden Spoon Trophy is played for by the bottom 5 teams from each of the GMD League divisions and a few AI teams are thrown in to fill gaps.

Champions Cup Group Stages

Here is a look at how each of the groups finished the Group Stage of the tournament…

GROUP A

Probably the hardest Group in all the competitions! Truly a clash of titans here! I am so not looking forward to next season!

Toping the Board for Last years World Cup finalists Albion Brightlights and just making the top 4, Bob’s Ballbags managed to jump in on the last round with a win over the AI team!

GROUP B

All 4 teams managed to push the AI out of the knockout stages in this group. wonder how Khaine’s Hitmen will fair in the Knockout stages? I cannot wait to see the match!

GROUP C

The teams fought hard here, but newcomers UFC Inc managed to grab third place in their first Trophy Tournament Group stage. How far along the knockout stages will they make it? I will be following their progress through the Daily Posts!

GROUP D

What an exciting group this has been! Newcomers The Cockney Contagions grab second place over last years World Cup 2020 winners! We will be following the GMD Member The Cockney Contagions progress throughout the tournament.

Wooden Spoon Group Stages

Here is a look at how each of the groups finished the Group Stage of the tournament…

GROUP A

All four teams managed to push the AI teams into 5th and 6th, claiming an all player victory in its Group stage!

GROUP B

Unbelievable!! Not 1 but 2 AI Teams have stolen 2nd and 3rd place! leaving two players teams knocked out of the Wooden Spoon! What an exciting competition this is turning out to be!

GROUP C

Well, ball fans! We certainly have a turn of events here in Group C! The Hern Hunters manage an undefeated victory of this group with some hideous scores! 8-0, 6-0 to name a couple! Hot on their tails are the Blight City Contagion. and only managing to steal 4th place Mikoyan’s Maggots slide into 4th place, But an AI team in the third see’s the Leagues, favourite team.. The Sausage Squashers are out of the tournament and rumour has it, into retirement…

Can the Hern Hunters go all the way? Especially after last years World Cup experience of being knocked out by the AI! and just scrapping relegation from Division 1? Is this the turnaround the Hern Hunters needed or is it just luck… We will soon see!

GROUP D

Say goodbye to the AI’s, this group were taking no prisoners! Stealing 1st Place Goat Simulator Reborn seem to be tearing their way through this tournament. While The Total Disaster grabs second! But how far will the Taking it Down a Snotch goes in the tournament, we will be watching all three GMD Member teams in the Daily Posts throughout the weeks to come!

There we have it, folks, while the teams are accepting their Tournament Knock Out stage tickets the rest of the league takes a much-needed rest while they prepare for the World Cup which is hopefully starting in October. Want a crack at winning a trophy.. then get ready to sign up for the World Cup!

Hey! We'd love to hear what you think...
