A distress signal from the outer rim.
A meteor on a collision course.
A colony with only hours to live…
Part 3!
An official GMD CORE World Event
This is not just a mission—it’s an official GMD Starfall Event.
The actions you and your fellow crew members take during Operation Blacklight will leave a lasting mark on the Starfall Campaign Setting. Every achievement unlocked, every survivor saved (or lost), and every choice made will influence future events and official Starfall lore.
Your story becomes the story.
Interact with the crew and equip yourself for the rescue ahead.
The Pioneer shudders to a halt on the ash-choked surface of Draxus-IX. Beyond its sealed ramp, the storm rages — a restless haze of grit and lightning that lashes against the colony’s silent structures. No voices greet you, no movement breaks the stillness, only the hum of your own systems and the weight of unanswered questions. The colonists are nowhere to be seen. It is time to find them. Speak with your fellow crew station officers to learn what they know, gather insights, and prepare for the search ahead. When you are ready, step out into the storm, explore the colony, and uncover the fate of those who once lived here.
⚠️ Note: Each move into a new area costs 1 Blue Shard. You may return to your current position at any time via this event page or from the VIP Portal → VIP Events section.
When you are ready, click the button below to continue…
Once you continue, you will not be able to return here.
Throughout the Event you will locate clues and equipment to assist you. Once you have located them, they will appear here.
Unlock Achievements will appear over the course of the event!

Something’s wrong. The colonists aren’t answering our hails, yet the colony still stands after the meteor storm. What exactly have you volunteered for? Best to be ready for anything…
