The party returns to Middenheim after retrieving the brass skull from the tomb, no sooner have they returned when things go wrong, Father Odo drinks some water which has been tainted with warpstone and turns into a chaos spawn, upon dispatching Odo they learn that 3 of the kitchen staff of the temple have also drunk the water and need to kill them also, the party investigates these matters which leads them to a secret cult called the purple hand and they soon take care of them and break the cult up they also find a book in the cults base.
