As part of this year, Challenge CORE series the GMD VIP Members requested a series of games from their favourite settings.
The latest of these is Lord of the Rings. So following on from a Middle Earth adventure I ran for them a few years back the party returned as members of the Company of Culthain a band of rangers who hunt the enemy across the North Western Middle Earth.
This is a Campaign Playtest series with the following cast:

Who longs to be reunited with her lover Nina another member of the company who set off with Culthain ahead of the group.

Related to Culthain the head of the company.
Ranger
Agitator (Actor: Rich)

Wilderness Survivalist and Falconer
Brief Background:
foul-tempered loner, the lost bastard son of Lord Mirendel.
Ronin
Scrapper (Actor: Eusi)
Race: Dwarf
Dual axe-wielding warrior.
Brief Background:
Who lost his family to Morg the Dwarf Killer.
Tinuviel
Scrapper (Actor: Waracolyte)
Race: Elf
Skilled Herbalist, and warrior.
Brief Background:
Good friends of Lofar who also is a tracker for the company, but has travelled ahead of the party with Culthaines band.

Race: Human
A mighty great axe-wielding warrior.

Cousin of Eanfled Amrodan
Rowing their boats Southwards away from the Misty Mountains the company made their way back towards the Tirthon. Making good progress, they camped for the night in a nearby wood. But the next day the river gave way to rapids! Corvus skilfully navigated his boat through the rapids without mishaps, Ailen managed to get her boat through but Ronin and Ulf were not so lucky!
Their boat smashed against rocks and they had to be rescued from the river.
That night, soaked, they came across the old farmhouse they used to rest in on the way to the ruins. Warming themselves by the fire, they took turns to take watch.
The evening was not as peaceful, the Warg Riders caught up with them, and a battle ensued…
