It’s Wednesday and on Wednesday, I add content to the XP Chart and work on some new products such as Miniatures, Music, Art Work, Board Games and gaming products and give you a preview of them all!
So in this edition of The Daily Post, I will be sharing with you what is being created and what is in the pipeline for the future too. Hopefully the information I include here will help you make informed decisions when it comes to voting in the gmd-members-polls channel on Discord.

In regards to miniatures, what would you like?
- Standard miniature unpainted
- Standard Miniature Painted
- Miniature Kit, Order different heads, bodies arms etc and build the miniature?
The Standard Miniature painted was the most popular followed by the Miniatures Kit. No members were interested in pre-painted miniatures.
Rules Upgrade Idea I had:
I asked Members what they thought of this rule upgrade: Whenever performing an Action, a character may perform a Threat Zone move in any direction or turn 90 degrees per Action. currently, a Character may only move using a SOFT Action which allows a 90 degrees turn… or a character may make a 180 degrees turn as a Soft Action on its own. I thought the above will give a little more versatility.
Members loved the new rules update and I will go about making it official!
Expanding Guide Book Update
With the approval from the GMD Members, I have updated the Ever-expanding CORE Mechanics Guide Book to include the new Movement rules.

Champions Cup News
We are now into Round 3 of the tournament and it is the Semi-Finals!! Above is the matches Schedule and the teams have two weeks to play!
Meanwhile, our resident reporter Barry Vinegar managed to catch up with Bob’s Ballbags…
Barry: ‘Wait up! That was a great result you had against Waleed Wanders, How did you think the match went and are you ready for the semi-finals?’
BBB: Each game always ends up the same, because all teams are inferior to Bob’s ballbags. Captain Bob told the other players to go easy on the waleed wanders as they were kin, that’s the only reason they are still alive to play another day. Bob said that he is not bothered about the semi finals, its just another day to him but Bob on the other hand, well he is another kettle of fish he said he is hungry for some fresh kills in his next match up. If it wasn’t for Bob Barry we wouldn’t have any mighty ballbags.
Barry: Well the final is waiting, and only two teams stand in your way, whats going through your head right now?
BBB: I’m thinking if we still have wheels on our caravan back at home in Jaywick…
Barry: … I see…
Wooden Spoon Tournament News
The Wooden Spoon Tournament is also heading into the Semi-Finals with a surprising lineup! Wait.. we see ^Ed Coach of Taking It Down A Snotch! Barry is heading over now!
Barry: Well ed, it seems that congratulations are in order, you are through to the Semi-finals… there are rumours going around that you bribed your way here! What do you have to say about such rumours?
Taking It Down A Snotch: Thanks, Barry. First I’d like to thank the fans and of course the hard-working officials who have to put up with completely unfounded and baseless accusations like this all the time. We at TIDAS think they work tirelessly for the good of the game and that they look absolutely smashing in their new Altdorf jewellery. We also hope the referee enjoys his trip away on Corsair Cruises he spontaneously decided he wanted to go on after the match finished.
We at TIDAS do not in any way condone a large variety of bribes, including trips away, meals for two, clothing, weaponry or good old fashioned cash. If any officials are concerned about this then please feel free to come and discuss the matter with me in my private office just before the match.
Barry: Wait… Why are you handing me a bag of coins?

Barry: Well there you have heard it, the rumours are put to bed, Taking it Down A Snotch got here on their own merits, not by the weight of their purse!

Sign-Ups have started!
To sign up for this year’s World Cup just say ‘I’m in the World Cup’ in the blood-bowl-banter channel on Discord! I will then grant you access to the dedicated channel for the World Cup.
I plan to start letting teams sign up towards the middle of October ready for the Tournament to start towards the end of October, once the current tournaments finish.
What if I want to use a new team?
You may use a fresh TV1000 team in the World Cup if you wish. Entirely up to you.
How often are the matches played?
The tournament will follow the standard fortnight GMD Rules and will turn over sooner if all matches are played.
Can I use my league team in the World Cup?
Yes, you can use your league team, beware opponents will be granted Inducements…
Can I use an experienced team in the World Cup?
No, only official current GMD League teams and new TV 1000 teams can join the World Cup. Worry not Last years World Cup winners were a TV 1000 Team!
