Character Background

Barnes is a Cyborg and was put together by a cult that followed an entity called the Horror. For years he followed their ways, sacrificing to the dark entity that I believed to reside out in the Black of Space a region known as the Void.

It is believed that the horror will bring forth a cleansing of the known galaxy, and only spare those loyal to him.

Barnes returned to his home system of Nia-Var as part of a strike force for the Cult of the Dark Lord, there he took part in the genocide of the system, when the POolarian Fleet cam, the fleet wiped out the Cult. Survivors, he included was taken hostage to stand trial for the atrocities they committed. On the journey, he was visited by a holy man, a man called Linus. who talked for hours and Barnes repented and renounced the ways of the horror. Linus championed Barnes and won his freedom as a renewed man. But the Cult of the Horror does not let go of its followers. They came to Linus’s home where Barnes was staying, and during the attack they killed Linus.. As Barnes raced away from the attackers it was Captain Av’ril and her crew that came to his aide and took him in. Zarah buried Linus and rea the rites that saw his soul returned to the Galactic Ligt.
